Picture Dump

I have a lot more pictures of the beauty of Maine in the fall, which I might as well upload here. These were all taken in Hartland.

A stranger's clothes on the line. I liked the colors.

"He is all pine and I am apple orchard."

Grandma's window box.
A grape vine twined itself into this maple tree in the back yard, and not until the tree turned red could you really see what was vine and what was tree.

I randomly came across your blog by searching for knitting squares to start making a blanket. I'm originally from N.E. and have been living in London for over 2 years now. I cannot tell you what lovely memories and heartbreak your amazingly beautiful pictures of Maine have given me. I'm engaged to an Englishman and know I'll be in the UK for another few years but I hope we can move to N.E. at some point in the near-ish future. I miss the quiet, the fall leaves, the simplicity, the majestic beauty, the waving of the American flag, the crisp, cool morning air, and especially the sound of snow falling. *Sigh*

A sincere thank you for the very artistic and lovely photos you've taken. They truly represent "home" to me, and I can't begin to tell you what that means and how it touches my heart.
